Izgra\u0111en je 1925. godine, a osve\u0161tao ga je sveti sve\u0161tenomu\u010denik Petar Sarajevski.\r\n\r\nHram je kroz svoju istoriju vi\u0161e puta obnavljan i mijenjao namjenu, pa je nakon Drugog svjetskog rata jedno vrijeme slu\u017eio kao skladi\u0161te.
