Nastala prirodnim putem kroz vi\u0161edecenijsko mijenjanje toka rijeke Turije, ova vodena povr\u0161ina karakteristi\u010dna je po svojoj stabilnosti \u2013 ona nikada ne presu\u0161uje, \u010duvaju\u0107i svoj oblik uprkos bujanju barske vegetacije poput \u0161a\u0161e i \u0161ipra\u017eja. Mosorovac je istinski raj za ornitologe i ljubitelje divljine, jer slu\u017ei kao glavno stani\u0161te i sigurna luka za koloniju od \u010dak 25 labudova, koji svojom graciozno\u0161\u0107u \u201egospodare\u201c ovim prostorom na relaciji Babice\u2013Poljice\u2013Priluk.\r\n\r\nOsim labudova i barskih kornja\u010da, Mosorovac je dom i mnogim drugim rijetkim vrstama, a poseban zna\u010daj dobija 2018. godine kada je ovdje prvi put zabilje\u017een orao bjelorepan. Kao ugro\u017eena vrsta sa Crvene liste, bjelorepan je postao redovan zimski gost akumulacije Modrac, \u0161to direktno ukazuje na izuzetan ekolo\u0161ki kvalitet i mir koji ovo podru\u010dje pru\u017ea.
