Prvi put se spominje 1333. godine u \u010duvenoj povelji bana Stjepana II Kotromani\u0107a, a zbog svog strate\u0161kog polo\u017eaja kroz vijekove je bila predmetom stalnih borbi izme\u0111u bosanskih vladara, Ugarske i Osmanskog carstva.
