Ljubav je ipak rasla, ali su se najgore slutnje obistinile \u2014 Omer je oti\u0161ao u boj i nikad se nije vratio.\r\n\r\nKada je vijest o njegovoj smrti stigla u Banju Luku, Safikada je obukla vjen\u010danicu, stala pred top na tvr\u0111avi Kastel koji je ozna\u010davao podne i uz povik \"Vjerna sam mu!\" okon\u010dala \u017eivot, ostaju\u0107i vjerna zakl\u0435\u0442vi do posljednjeg daha. Grob na kojem je sahranjena godinama privla\u010di zaljubljene djevojke koje pale svije\u0107e i \u0161apu\u0107u molitve za vjernu ljubav.
