Zenit Beach
Description
Zenit Beach is a city beach in Neum, located directly in front of Hotel Zenit on the Adriatic coast. It combines well-kept concrete sunbathing platforms and a pebble entry into the sea, with a shoreline a little over 400 meters long. The bottom slopes gently, and water shoes are recommended. The beach has full infrastructure: sun loungers, umbrellas, toilets, lifeguards, and medical staff.
There are about 13 cafés nearby, and the nearest venue, Copacabana, is only 10 meters away. The warmest period is August, when the air temperature reaches around 29.5 °C and the sea around 26.6 °C. Accommodation is available from 70 meters away, with seven more options within a 2 km radius. The beach is suitable for families with children and older visitors and is easy to access. Neum can be reached from Bosnia and Herzegovina via the main road that passes through Croatia (Ploče–Metković), with travel documents checked along the way.
The only sea in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Neum is the only city in Bosnia and Herzegovina with access to the Adriatic Sea, and Zenit Beach is one of its most accessible urban beaches. Stretching a little over 400 meters, it combines a pebble entry into the water with concrete sunbathing platforms — making it suitable both for those who prefer neat surfaces for lounging and for those who want to step straight into the sea.
In August, the sea temperature reaches around 26.6 °C, and the water is gentle and gradually gets deeper, making it ideal for children and less confident swimmers.
