Tito Monument
Description
The memorial park in the settlement of Mravinjac near Goražde is one of the few remaining symbols of remembrance of Josip Broz Tito and the values of the former common state. Built in 1980, shortly after Tito’s death, this unique memorial complex is located on the left bank of the Drina and is recognizable by 88 planted pine trees symbolizing the years of the president’s life. For the people of the Goražde area and members of the Anti-Fascist Association, this park is not just a monument to a historical figure, but a living meeting place that promotes humanism, freedom, and equality. Even today, decades after its creation, the park attracts the attention of passersby, inviting new generations to learn about anti-fascism as a lasting state of mind and way of life.
