Gradiška City Hall
Description
Right on the banks of the Sava, just beside the bridge, the City Hall draws the eye — a magnificent symbol of Gradiška and a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Built at the turn of the 20th century, this building is a fascinating blend of cultures, recognisable for its distinctive pseudo-Moorish style.
The façade brings to life the spirit of distant Spain and North Africa through horseshoe arches, while the Star of David bears witness to a deep Jewish influence. Horizontal lines and the bulbous dome make it one of the city's most photogenic sights. Experience this architectural gem where Austro-Hungarian elegance embraces oriental charm.
