Manastirište

Nestled in the valley of the Lubina River, just 20 kilometres from Gradiška, lies a fascinating archaeological treasure — Manastirište in Gornji Kijevci. For centuries, this site was hidden beneath the forest, preserving secrets from Roman times to the Middle Ages.

Today you can see the foundations of an ancient church and the famous Glagolitic inscription from the 10th century, while the site's tranquillity is complemented by mysterious stećci tombstones and the Karanovac spring. London institutes confirmed the age of the finds from 1250, making this place a must-see stop for history lovers.
