The Wild Horses of Livno are one of the most unusual and famous natural attractions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the vast plateaus of Mount Krug and Cincar, the largest herd of wild horses in Europe roams freely, numbering several hundred animals. These horses are descendants of domestic horses abandoned by their owners in the middle of the last century and have since become a symbol of freedom and the untouched nature of the Livno region.
