Azizija Mosque

In the very heart of Kostajnica stands the Azizija Mosque, built in 1862 as an expression of the will of Ottoman Sultan Abdul-Aziz, whose name it proudly bears to this day. This sacred gem is not only a place of prayer, but also a powerful symbol of unity and solidarity among the local people. History records that many citizens took part in its restoration and preservation, and as a token of gratitude they were given the keys to the mosque gates.
