A beach made out of love for the river
Desetka was not created by a city administration decision or an investor project — it was created through the efforts of a local residents' association that simply decided the Drina in Vranići deserved a proper riverbank. The Desetka association arranged the beach, installed a diving platform and a volleyball court, and placed benches right by the river, and access is completely free. On weekends, up to a hundred visitors gather on the riverbank, which says enough about how necessary that effort was.
An active Drina summer
For younger generations, Desetka has become an essential summer destination on the Drina. Diving platforms, a volleyball court, and the refreshing river make it more dynamic than a typical passive bathing spot, while the informal atmosphere keeps it away from a commercial feel. The association also plans to add sun loungers and umbrellas, which only confirms that this is just the beginning of a more serious development of the Drina riverbank around Goražde.
