Description

Just 150 meters from the city center lies Donjačka Mosque. Originally built by Ibrahim-hodža in the 16th century, it now lives on through a faithful restoration completed in 2017.

As a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it preserves the spirit of centuries past. It is recognizable by its harmonious dome and minaret with wooden details. In front of the mosque there is a fountain used by worshippers before prayer, adding to the serenity of this historic place.
