Fortica Glass Observation Deck

1.9 km to the city center

Description

The Fortica Skywalk, also known as Skywalk Mostar, is part of the Fortica Sports and Adventure Park on the eastern hill above Mostar, about 5 km from the city centre. The glass walkway is roughly 35 metres long and set some 15 metres above the famous „We love you, BiH“ sign. Stepping onto the transparent floor feels like walking through the clouds and rewards visitors with an unforgettable view of the city on the Neretva, the surrounding mountains and the Podveležje wind farm.

The park grew out of an initiative by a local mountain-biking association and today brings together a string of adrenaline activities: the longest zipline in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a via ferrata, a suspension bridge, a climbing crag and the largest swing in the country. With preserved remains of Austro-Hungarian and Italian fortifications, Fortica unites adventure, history and nature in one place.
