The journey connecting Perućac and Višegrad is not just an ordinary boat ride – it is an entry into the heart of untouched nature, where the Drina River winds through the narrow gorges and cliffs of Tara National Park and Drina National Park.
The cruise begins on Lake Perućac, an artificial reservoir that fascinates with its emerald color and tranquility. As soon as the boat leaves the wider part of the lake, you enter the spectacular Drina Canyon. Here the cliffs become steep, and civilization is left far behind. In some places, the rocks rise almost vertically, reaching heights of over 1,000 meters, leaving travelers in complete awe of the forces of nature.
