Paragliding Drvar – Kruškovac

Paragliding is Drvar's newest sporting gem, slowly but surely conquering the skies above our town. It all began in 2017, when paragliders from neighboring places, impressed by the natural conditions of the Drvar area, recognized its huge potential for flying.

As of 2018, things became more serious – work began on improving access roads, building a modern takeoff site and supporting facilities, while the sky started to host the first informal competitions and promotional flights. The crowning achievement of that effort was the official founding of the club in early 2020, which today proudly brings together 15 trained pilots.

For everyone who wants to experience the freedom of flight, the main base is the Kruškovac takeoff site. It is located in the settlement of Podovi, just 4 kilometers from the Drvar – Bosanski Petrovac main road, and offers an incredible view that takes your breath away even before you leave the ground.
