The center and its surroundings
Pecka is more than just an excursion site - it is an outdoor tourism ecosystem built into an authentic Bosnian village. The former primary school has been converted into a modern center with loungers, Lazy Bag beanbags, children's playgrounds, an artificial climbing wall, and all the equipment needed for a stay in nature. The Greenway organization, which manages the center, has thoroughly marked all the trails in the area. A Roman road passed through this area in Roman times, and the Roman settlement of Sernade was located in Gornja Pecka. The Korana River, a tributary of the Sana, flows right next to the center and offers crayfish catching, canyoning, and peaceful walks by the water. The Pecka Outdoor Festival attracts families from across the region.
