Description

Provalija Waterfall, also known as Stolačka Niagara, is one of the most attractive natural sights in Stolac, located in Ošanjići. It is fed by the Bregava River, and beneath the falls lies a cave that attracts visitors of all ages. Next to the waterfall is a small beach ideal for rest and refreshment on warmer days. Due to the Mediterranean climate and the sunny character of Stolac, the waterfall can dry up in summer during dry periods — spring is the best time to visit, when the water flow is at its peak.

Surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation, Provalija is an ideal destination for nature lovers, photographers, and family outings. Stolac is also a town with one of the highest numbers of sunny days in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which makes a visit even better with a tour of the stećci necropolis, Vidoški City, and the stone bridges along the Bregava River.

Lush Mediterranean greenery surrounds the waterfall on all sides, and next to it is a small beach that becomes an ideal stop on a trip in warmer weather.
