Crni Vrh

Crni Vrh is a low but charming mountain rising five kilometers south of Tešanj, on the border between the municipalities of Tešanj, Maglaj, and Teslić, offering what every town longs for — a green refuge right next door. The highest peak, popularly called "Bandera," reaches 732 meters above sea level and rewards every climber with a breathtaking panoramic view of Tešanj and the surrounding valley.

The southern slopes are covered with beech and hornbeam forest, while the northern slopes are lined with oak and Turkey oak trees — this diversity of vegetation makes Crni Vrh beautiful in every season, from spring greenery to golden autumn leaves. There are no crowds, no commercial facilities — just fresh mountain air, quiet forest trails, and nature in its most authentic form. It is ideal for a morning hike, a family picnic, or simply escaping the city bustle, just fifteen minutes from the center of Tešanj.
