Gradačac is a city where history can be felt at every step, from medieval walls to authentic mahallas. Its most recognizable symbol is the Old Town, a fortified complex within which the White Tower proudly stands, once the seat of the captains and today a viewpoint overlooking five surrounding towns. Alongside the tower, the heart of the city is made up of the Clock Tower, the Husejnija Mosque, and the Orthodox and Catholic churches, bearing witness to centuries of coexistence. For nature lovers, Gradačac offers Hazna and Vidara lakes, which have been transformed from defensive dams into favorite places for relaxation, fishing, and walking. The city is also known for its hospitality, traditional specialties such as hurmašice with apple jam, and the famous Plum Fair, which every year celebrates the fertility of the Posavina land.
