Description

A Jeep safari through the Perućica Primeval Forest in Sutjeska National Park is one of the most exciting off-road adventures in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Off-road vehicles take you through the untouched wilderness of the Sutjeska Canyon, one of the last primeval forests in Europe — Perućica, up to 300 years old — and to breathtaking viewpoints.

From Dragoš Sedlo, a panoramic view unfolds over Maglić — the highest peak in BiH at 2,386 meters — and the Skakavac Waterfall, one of the most beautiful in the region. The tour includes a drive through the canyon, a visit to the primeval forest, and a traditional mountain lunch with homemade cheese, kajmak, and prosciutto. Most tours depart from camps in the Tara Canyon or Foča, and the season runs from April 15 to October 15. No prior experience is needed — just courage and a love of nature.
