Mother Partisan Monument

At the heart of history, where art and suffering intertwine, stands the monumental Mother Partisan monument from 1964. This masterpiece by sculptor Marijan Kocković is not just a monument, but a moving story in three acts.

The central bronze statue of the mother radiates dignity, while the ten-meter stone relief faithfully depicts the dramatic course of the National Liberation Struggle. A special sense of peace is provided by the granite cube with the timeless verses of the poem "Stojanka majka Knežopoljka" by Skender Kulenović.
