The Drina Canyon near Višegrad is one of the most important natural attractions in this area and one of the main reasons tourists come to the city. It is known for its calm green water, steep banks, strong sense of untouched nature, and exceptionally attractive views from the river. The Višegrad Tourist Organization especially promotes it through cruises and speedboat excursions, and the Tourist Organization of Republika Srpska states that visitors can experience a journey through the second-largest canyon in Europe here. It is an excellent choice for visitors who want nature, photography, boat rides, and a quieter outing away from the urban center.
